I love spending time in my studio. It is located inside my home, but isn't in a separate room hidden away from distractions. I have tried that before, felt it was necessary, but I only felt disconnected. Being in the center of the house where life can affect my ever sense is perfect for me: the commotion of a young family + dog, ambient noise from our wilderness, smells from the kitchen, and the warm natural light that fills the house.
A space where art is created, the thoughts flow, connections are made, and coffees are consumed. It is an ever-changing space and most days it is an organized clutter.
I keep some of my most prized possessions from world travels or gifts from loved ones around to encourage and inspire me.
There are two parts to my studio: the office and the workspace. Everything found in my space has a story and a purpose. It has taken many shapes and forms over the years, but I must admit my current set up is one of my favorites.
