This week was such a treat 🍨🍧🍦🧁🍰🍩🍪
The kids put their creativity and their sweet tooth's to the mission of creating some incredible sweet things this week.

We decorated all kinds of sweet treats and ended our class with actual, edible donuts! We focused on colors, layering, and style. Our mini-cupcakes and massive doughnuts were painted with patterns and sprinkled with glitters – ahem – I mean sprinkles and adorned with pom-pom toppings!  

​The kids learned about primary, secondary, and complementary colors through a 4-scoop ice cream project! They also learned how to make a paper cone for ice cream "pom-poms".

Color wheel creation during the lesson using only primary colors and creating secondary and tertiary colors. Used a line in the middle opening to show how to find complementary colors.
