Artist & Entrepreneur
APR. 2020 – PRESENT
Founder of an online shop featuring my watercolor and mixed media paintings. Created annual collections of artworks and developed commissioned pieces for a number of collectors. Manage customer relations; community outreach; production and shipping research, products, and timelines; email newsletter; website and online shop; and social media. My work can be found in private collections in the US, UK, and Europe.
APR. 2007 – PRESENT
Designed projects for various partners in industries ranging from established law firms in London to start-ups in Chicago. In charge of the business side of contracts, invoicing, and proposals. Principal designer throughout the design process from the first cup of coffee to the launch of the product.
NOV. 2016 – PRESENT
In charge of carrying two female humans to term while ensuring my own physical, mental and emotional well-being. Following birth, my duties shifted to meal planning for various stages of ability, as well as wardrobe creation and maintenance. Routinely cleansed bodies, garments and accessories of all bodily functions not caught by highly researched safeguarding measures. Lead teacher for age-appropriate movements, play, self-care, and education/schooling. Head of research and procurement of hazard-, chemical-, plastic-free and/or organic household inventory. Social director for differing levels of experience, providing reservations/appointments, extracurricular time tables, transportation.
Promoted to international relocation manager for three international moves in four years. Ensured sustenance and activities, as well as temporary and permanent home bases with each new location. Managed the household on a one-income budget to ensure we live well, live happy, and live fully.
To date, this has been the hardest and most rewarding position I’ve held. All duties were performed in fast-paced or painfully slow and often high-stress and low-sleep environments. Various aspects may have been omitted or forgotten by the intense love experienced during my years in this position.
AUG. 2014 – DEC. 2014
Taught an introductory visual communications course (GDES 200). Managed lesson plans for two classes per week, project and course grading for 17 students, correspondence, and related readings. The goals of understanding, discussing, recognizing, and creating visual communications in a variety of guided settings were met by a majority of the class.

My most successful projects involved full-scale, in-depth strategic branding projects, specifically those with interactive or experience aspects. Active team member during collaborations, client meetings, and community functions. Continued after relocation to the UK as a part-time designer in Jun. 2015 and contract designer in May 2021.

Created a range of print and digital deliverables in an agency setting. Mentee to creative directors and mentored junior designers. Worked with an internal billing system and responsible for digital filing and production flow. Performed weekly research to familiarize team with emerging trends.
