Following my undergraduate work at Ohio University (2007; Athens, OH USA; BFA Graphic Design) I have fervently built my career in art and design.

My abilities and skillset encompass design thinking and system awareness, maximizing organization and resourcefulness, and ensuring efficiency and cooperation in varying environments and teams. I believe clear communication is key to a successful project. My process always starts with paper, pencil and research, all iterations of work are saved within an easily-navigable filing system, and I have been developing atomic design systems for projects before they were known as such.

​I am drawn to the fluidity and character of a simple line. Previous foci were landscapes created by layering visceral strokes atop soft washes and floral collages created from watercolor paintings. Additionally, I have made pattern designs for home decor, fabrics, and wallpaper from sketches. I enjoy illustrating drawing. My pieces are created in my home studio in the UK and my work can be found in private collections in the USA, UK, and Europe.

Equally important aspects that make me whole:

• My supportive partner and two beautiful children brighten my days. In 2016, I shifted focus from my career to parenthood. Raising my children until school-age was an important personal goal that was reached this past September.
• My design appreciation expands to architecture and interior design. When design hits more than one sense at a time, I feel my heart beat deeply and a literal buzz on the top of my head. Dezeen is the only email I read from top-to-bottom, increasing their click-thru rate profoundly. Interior Design Masters is the only show I actively wait to release and QI is the only show I will rewatch, otherwise it is only books.​​
• I have moved internationally three times, as well as traveled to 19 countries and 26 US states. I'm a supporter of multi-cultural exposure through travel and assimilation so it wouldn't be a surprise if these stats are outdated already.
• My 15-year asana practice has led to further study of the yoga sutras and work towards a 200-hour yoga teacher training through My Vinyasa Practice.
